Hi,
I'm looking for a specific command on the 12406 series router that would give me the firmware version of a specific card/interface?

Hello Rafiek,
you can use
sh gsr
sh gsr chassis-info
and you can access the linecard info with
execute-on slot slot# sh ver
and you can also telnet to the linecard
with
session slot slot#
