Hi,
I have a cisco 1720 - C1700-NO3SY7-M), Version 12.2(8)T10 - in which Ethernet port I have a wireless Ethernet connection to get a server in a remote site.
The problem is that I have to do "clear arp" in the router sometimes because the server cannot communicate to the external site.
Do you know what can I do to solve this problem?

Hello William,
you should provide some more details.
Post a filtered version of your router configuration.
However, if you want you can try to add a static ARP in your router for the server's MAC address and IP to see if this fixes your problem.
the command should be:
arp 1.1.1.1 001d.1234.5678 arpa
However, if the arp entry in the router gets corrupted it can be a sign that some other device is on the wireless lan and can be sending gratuitos ARPs or be acting as a proxy-arp.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Thanks Giuseppe,
I did what you suggested, but the problem is still present.
I'm trying now using the comand "arp timeout 1200" to avoid doing a "clear arp" manually.
I'll tell you if this works.
regards.
