Count for voicemails and generating report

I am using an IPCCX IVR , where customer presses, say option '2' to record voicemail, which then gets converted as an email and gets sent as an email attachment(using functions fromemail,attachemail,sendemail).

Is there anyway using a variable I can keep an account on how many times the customer leaves a voicemail in a day, and later generate a report using the historical reporting Tool for IPPCX on daily as well as monthly basis?If yes how?

I am having IPCCX 6.0(prem version) with standard reports, but don't have any reporting tool for customising reports.

Hey There,

I don't have much experience with IPCCX, I support an IPPCE 7.0 system, but I am using the same sort of message system where the IVR records a message, attaches it as a .wav file and then emails it to a certain email address.

How I report on this is that I created a _VM.CT Call type for each customer and have the call flow out to this call type before hitting the run external script (to vm) node.

Not sure if you can do this in IPCCX though.
