MDS9124 - single PSU - Error Message

Hi there

We have a 9124 with a single power supply and I'm wondering how to "tell the box" not to moan about this? Problem here is, taht it's been monitored and the system is trowing an alarm every 10 secs cause the MDS "is not feeling very well".

I tried to use the power-combine without success. I just want to get rid of the minor alarm state.

G'day,

You could disable the "callhome" feature, specifically the environmental alert group. This does however disable fan tray and over temp alerts as well.

Hi Andrew

I thought so as well, but was wondering whether there is something to turn of JUST the PSU alarm instead of turning of the complete environmental monitoring.
