LCS 2005 CUPS 6 UCCM 5.1

i am having issues with trying to get remote call control working with LCS and CUPS 6.

I think the main issue is with the static routing and the SIP and remote call control URI setup, basically I am confused with some fields.

here is the basic layout.

I have a CUPS 6 server, cups1.mydomain.com

I have an LCS 2005 server,

LCS1.mydomain.com

I have an UCCM 5.1. server,

UCCM1.mydomain.com

all servers are dns enabled and reachable.

LCS 2005 is already running fine without call control, local users are defined in active directory and have a sip URI of the specification:

user.name@SIPdomain.co.uk

remote call control SIP,

sip:user.name@cups1.mydomain.com

I also have a staic route defined on the LCS server

user = *

domain = cups1.mydomain.com

If i run the CUPS troubleshooter everything looks good but I still cannot get any control control between the CUPS and LCS.

any help would be appreciated

Start up RTMT for the CUPS server. Turn on Traces for SIP Proxy or watch the Real Time logs happening.

Basically, you should your problem in the SIP PRoxy logs. The SIP Invites will come from LCS with your expected user@company.xxx. Then Presence will tell you if the SIP invite is mathched correctly or not. That was my problem. I had the wrong SIP users or domain setup. (do not recall)

But check the logs in Real Time Monitoring Tool.
