I have been trying to determine what I need to set up a lab at home for the CCNA. I am trying to get suggestions on equipment, does anyone have a good suggestion as to what I should purchase for a good basic lab?

Dude !!!
If you can afford hardware equiptments switches routers , it is good.
But other option for CCNA is
Powerful Machine ( atleast 1 to 2 GB RAM )
40 GB disk space..powerful CPU..like Xeon
and "DYNAMIPS" software..the best !!!!
You will be able to practice enough for CCNA..
Follow below link..

Hi, I bought my CCNA lab from ebay, I got two Cisco 2900XL and two 2500 routers and honestly I find these great, you have all commands on them better that any simulator (labs always work on simulators ha)I got them for £130 which was brill. go for it lad get the real things and good luck with the exams.
