Hai,
Iam having a network cloud which contains the protocols like ospf ,ibgp ,eigrp, rip are running in all routers and the routers are in the mesh connection.
So my question is which all databases it conatains like ospf topology table, ospf neighbor table....and from where the routes will enter in to the main routing table.for the if the bgp is the best route from which database the route will put in the routing table or bgp itself is having a routing table by own ???which all routes are inside the main routing table.
Please clear me the basic doubt....
Thanks in advance

1.For RIP only routing table would be there
2.For EIGRP,OSPF neighbor table, topology table/database would be there.
3.For BGP neigbor table & bgp table or bgp routing table would be there.
4.But only one routing table will be there for all routing protocols.
5.All best routes to networks will be added into routing table based on the metric & administrative distance.
Follow below link, for detail explaination of each protocol..

Hai ,
thankz for your response ...but do there is any command to see the bgp routing table what you had specified, where it has put multiple paths for a single destination
I meant only the Ibgp(ipv4) running inside an AS.

Hi,
show ip bgp summary -- will show neighbors
show ip bgp -- will show BGP table, this will show the multiple valid paths as well as best paths
R5# show ip bgp
BGP table version is 38, local router ID is 5.5.5.5
Status codes: s suppressed, d damped, h history, * valid, > best, i - internal,
