hi all,

i have alert that shows

sh int vlan6

Vlan6 is up, line protocol is down

Hardware is EtherSVI, address is 0017.95ab.1130 (bia 0017.95ab.1130)

what does this mean?????

It means none of the ports that are in vlan 6 are in a connect status so the SVI will be in a up/down state. Once a device in that vlan comes active the SVI will go up/up.
