Allocating memory modules in routers

Hi,

sometimes I have the problem to determine faulty memory modules.

For example in a 12000 series router i have 2x1GB modules installed on the PRP-2. Now I get a memory error, this time one module is just missing (router reports only 1GB, schould have 2GB).

How can I determine which module is working and which is the faulty one ?

Is there a command that reports how the module (PRP) is fitted ?

Thanks for your help,

best regards,

Nico

In order to determine the faulty memory module in routers, it is essential that you collect the output from these commands:

show context summary

show logging

show logging summary

show diag

show context slot
