Hi Guys,
I have been asked to find out if you can plug a Dictaphone in to the Audio auxiliary port of a Cisco 7937 and be able to record the conversation. The user gudie states that the port is a full-duplex connection and it is labled with a audio input/output symbol. I am running CUCM 6.1.2
I would be a great help if someone could test this for me.
Cheers

Hi guys,
If you haven't got a Dictaphone please can you test with a set of earphones. Its a 2.5mm Jack so any Ipod earphones should work. The reason i'm asking this question is i currently have a polycom ip 7000 version and this is only a Line in jack and not line out.

Hi Matt,
I just tried this with a new 7937 and did not receive any audio "out".
Hope this helps!

Thanks for doing that.

Hey Matt,
You are most welcome my friend :) I thought it was a pretty interesting question. I still love the 7937 though, no more spiderweb/ratsnest of wiring.
Take care,
Rob
