When I do a transfer from CVP over the PSTN throught the SIP Proxies. it uses the ringer.wav TCL on the gateway. It sounds terrible like choppy and awful except for like 1 every 4 rings. I treid putting it on the VXML gateways and the ingress gateways but they both sounds awful..
Any ideas?

On your egress gateway pots dial peer you can add this CLI:
progress_ind alert strip

Sounds fine here.
I even copied it off the CVP distribution (ringback.wav) and use it in CVP when I route to a "preferred agent" for a brief time - approx 4 seconds. It sounds great.

Geoff,
I found the problem but don't know the fix. on transfers to the PSTN its playing the CVP ringer and the one from the Telco. How to I prevent CVP from playing ringer.wav on a particular label transfer or say all calls that go to 12>
Thanks,
Chad

12.4(15)T and I don't have this command available? Is it not available until a certain IOS?
Thanks much!
