I am interested to know the expert view points for solution proposals - When to propose IPVIR (CRS) and Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal.

I would recommand CVP for distributed contact centers where calls arrive at mutliple locations or for deployment with complex self service apps. Everything else is better suited in my opinion at this time for IPIVR.

Naturally, as a CVP junkie, I disagree. Unless you are doing fancy IPIVR tricks like HTTP triggers and so on, I'd go with CVP. The voice gateway is a perfect place for the IVR.

I have a related - interesting question for you.
Is it possible to generate multiple parallel IVR calls using CRS application.
Basically we have to write a script where in emergency situation mulpile parallel outbound calls are generated by IVR.
Any idea on this?We have IPCCX5.0 and CUCM 6.0.
I read in the Cisco forum "" We would have to develop a custom application that launches UCCX scripts using HTTP triggers
in order to place outbound calls"
Any idea on this one?
