CUCM 6.1 Upgrade question

Recently had Call Manager 4.1x upgraded to CUCM 6.1 with Presence and the rest.

Somewhere along the way, the Personal Address Book in 4.1 has been lost.

From what I can tell, in 4.1, CM stored the information in the AD schema but in 6.1, it is storing it in its local LDAP on CUCM.

Is there a utility to get the information out of the old AD trees and load it into the new 6.1 tree and then also clean the information out of the AD?


I have this problem too.

That is the downfall of having a 4.x system intergrated with AD. There is no way of removing those Schemas updates Cisco did. They are there for good.

As for the address books, not sure if you can use some sort of LDAP viewer and copy and paste that out.

Also, if you still have your 4.x server, start it up off the network, use BAT to export the personal address books if possible
