I have been able to successfully authenticate vpn connections with certificates from an ASA to ASA, and a pix to a pix. I am having problems though establishing a tunnel from an ASA to a pix 501. I was wondering if it is even possible to authenticate a vpn connection with certificates between an ASA and pix?

Thank you for a response but that link has nothing to do with the question I asked. I know how to setup a tunnel with pre-shared keys. I want to know if it is possible to use certificate authentication between an ASA and Pix with version 6.3. I already can create a tunnel with certificates between two ASAs.
