Hi Experts,
Please some one help me we are using Cisco 1812 router it has 2 FE and 8 switch and 2 USB
Is it possible to connect harddisk directly to router using USB port.
If yes please brief me.

The USB ports are not enabled - they are for future use.

These USB ports will be configurable in the future to work with an optional USB memory token for secure configuration distribution and off-platform storage of VPN credentials.

Hi Viswa,
I don't know about hard disks, but I've successfully used standard USB memory sticks with the following Cisco router models:
C1812
C2801
C2811
C2821
C2851
C3825
I use them as a method of backing up the IOS image in instances where the flash is too small for me to copy two images to (i.e. during IOS upgrades).
The drive is mounted as usbflash0: or usbflash1: on the router, depending on which USB port I connect it to.
