CallManager E-Mail RTMT Alerts

Is there a way to monitor what happens when CallManager supposedly sends e-mail alerts?

I have set up a system alert which triggers every minute. It displays the recipient for the e-mail alert. I never receive the e-mail. I have checked and rechecked the SMTP ip address and port but never see CallManager put the packets on the wire when I use a packet sniffer.

I am also looking for this info. Is there a trace file we can look in?

Does a change in SMTP setting require a service restart?


This is most likely a rejection by the SMTP server, but it would be nice to see the trace file confirming the message is sent correctly.
