Locking down extension mobility in Call Manager 5.1(2)?

We are planning on rolling out extension mobility functionality to our end users but we have one concern. We have set up a default password in our template, but there does not seem to be anyway to force end users to change that password once they have logged in to use the function for the first time. Is there anyway to force end users to change their pin number once they have logged in using the default? The ability to enforce password change exists in unity but it does not appear to exist in call manager 5.1(2)?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Rgds,

Vicky

Thank you for the post, what we wanted was a way to enforce that the end users will change their password from the default. In Unity we can check off a box that prompts end users that they must change their password when they log in.

We checked in with TAC and it looks like there is no way to force this.

Again if you have any suggestions to that end please let us know.

Thank you.

Hi,

In CCM 6.x you can enforce user to change the password and PIN after 1st attempt.

under user management>serach for the user>next to password you can find edit credential and edit the credentials as per your requrinments.

If you want enforce all the user then you need to go to user management>credential policy defaul> change the property accordingly.

i hope this may answer your question.
