Hi all,
I'm having the folowing senario,
PSTN-->CISCO-GW-2821---->CALLMA-(QSIG-GF)----->ALCATEL-4400.
When same one from the pstn call to a DN on alcatel 4400 the alcatel 4400 responds to a setup from the callmanager with a CALL-PROC folowed by a ALERTING with PI=8 and folowed by a PROGRESS with a PI=8. With the alerting with PI=8 the pstn does not open the audio channel. The alcatel 4400 as a feature (connect on progress) that generate a connect message in the presence of a progress message. On the cisco does any one knows a equivalent feature on the cisco side to send the connect message to the pstn based on the receiving progress from the alcatel.
Many thanks

Hello:
Have you tried to use this comand in the GW cisco?
In the pots outbound dial peer:
progress_ind progress enable 8
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Hi all,
The only way to resolve the issue was using
a a feature "connect on progress" on alcatel side.
