Playing back a date with CVP minus the year

I am trying to use the system PD,Date and play back a date with ICM Scripting and CVP. It is working fine, but my customer wants it to play without the year. For example today its playing "September forth two thousand eight". Customer would like "September forth". Is there a way to customize this playback without the year?

System is CVP 3.1 and ICM 7.1.

I don't see a way to do this using the PD,date micro app. Maybe using TTS might be easier, the documentation makes it sound like it has more flexibility since it uses the YYYYMMDD format.

How about CVP VXML (Audium) using Say It Smart. Simply pass in the date as a session variable (DDMM) stripped down by a ICM substring() function.

Set the Say It Smart to Type = Date, Input = DDMM, Output = Month/Day.

Can sound better than TTS.

Thanks Geoff, I don't have Audium on this one....straight ICM scripting on this build.
