I have unplugged an 7941G phone from the network. It still shows up as registered. Can I speed up the deregistration of this phone with a command?

I think it will time out after a while but i need to reassign the mac-address without waiting so long.

That's an interesting problem, Anthony. Did it eventually unregister? If the problem is easily reproduced, it might be a defect. Which version of IOS/CME are you running?

To try to clear out a hung registration, try resetting or restarting the ephone from the CLI.
