Hi,

I have two ASA 5520 both having same IOS and hardware configuration. Please find the license for both ASA..

Licensed features for this platform:

Maximum Physical Interfaces : Unlimited

Maximum VLANs : 150

Inside Hosts : Unlimited

Failover : Active/Active

VPN-DES : Enabled

VPN-3DES-AES : Disabled

Security Contexts : 2

GTP/GPRS : Disabled

VPN Peers : 750

WebVPN Peers : 2

This platform has an ASA 5520 VPN Plus license.

Now my qusetion is shall I configure Active/Standby failover by using this two ASA?

Thanks.

The license information indicates that it supports active/active configuration. So if you wish to configure it in active/standby then that should certainly be supported by the license.

I note that 3DES-AES is disabled. This will not prevent your active/standby configuration, but I would suggest that you might want to get the 3DES-AES activated on the license.
