Please let me know if i want to configure IPS in such a way so that the certain packets coming to firewall , routers (in the same or different network)gets blocked according to "Blocking devices " facility by specifying a certain ACL and that action shud be taken only if a particular signature triggers on those firewall / routers

Also , since this wil require IPS to access these devices (via certain key) therefore do i need to give any ACL in those firewall , routers so as to allow IPS to enforce those acls to get implemented on those firewall , routers
