TAPS on CUCM5.X, 6.X

I need to use TAPS for a roll out but unlike 4.x which I`ve used it on before, TAPS is windows and CUCM is not- Has any one used TAP`s in a 6.X rollout and how. Do I need to install a new Cisco Windows server and point the CTI RP to it. On 4.x, I co-located the CRS application on the Pub as well - what is needed on 6.x thanks

Exactly, you need a separate dedicated server for CRS running TAPS running Windows.

Hi all,

If I want to use TAPS on a CCM6 or higher, I'll need UCCX5 and higher. Does anybody have experience running this in VMWARE? I'd be very interested on how it has to be done...

You need to install "Cico OS 2003" on VMware first. Then everything should run well.
