Change unity setup

I have a customer using CUM version 4.05. Integrated with lotus notes. Is it possible to covert the unity system to a VM only setup. or can I take a DIRT backup of the current system, build a new VM box then restore the config from the CUM build?

the change from UM to VMO and viceversa requires you to rebuild the server using the DIRT backup

thanks, so I can take the dirt backup from UM and rebuild a new VM only server and recover it with the backup

yes, that's right

unfortunately the procedure does require the server rebuild like the one of changing the domain to which unity belongs =(
