BLF Information

I'm trying to figure out whether phones that are SCCP can use the BLF feature. From reading the CCM Help files it seems to say that the BLF/SD feature is SD only on SCCP phones? Is that correct? Thanks!

Hi John,

You should be "good to go" with SCCP Phones as well. Here is a good clip :)

The following Cisco Unified IP Phones support BLF speed dial for SCCP:

•Cisco Unified IP Phone 7914G

•Cisco Unified IP Phone 7940G

•Cisco Unified IP Phone 7960G

•Cisco Unified IP Phones 7941G and 7941G-GE

•Cisco Unified IP Phones 7961G and 7961G-GE

•Cisco Unified IP Phones 7970G and 7971G-GE

Hope this helps!

Absolutely they can.

HTH,

Chris

Thanks Chris. Does this mean I have to setup PRESENCE?

No, all you need to ensure is that you have Subscribe CSS selected on the phones that will use BLF witch access to the parition of the phone you need to get presencse from.
