I am looking at setting up QOS for Nortel Phones running on a Cisco Network. The simplest case I have which is where I am starting with is we have phones on the distant end of a ATT METRO-E link connecting back to the Nortel VOIP at a central location. We are trunking a data vlan and a voice vlan across the METRO-E the remote switch is a 3560 connects back to the core on a 6509. In it's simplest form in order to QOS operational would it simply be to globally enable QOS and then do a "mls qos trust cos" on all the ports along the way?

There are varying configurations that I have looked at with various levels of complexity. The more complex configs seem to allow more granularity in regards to what is given priority. Anyone have any good links to take a look at to get more insight into how this works?
