7937 conference IP station

When I connect the 7937 to the data port on the floor, will not turn on at all.

If I connected to my 3750 port it comes on instantly.

What can it be wrong?

Thanks.

Hi Eduardo,

You would need this Part# only if you are using the Power Cube 3;

CP-7937-PWR-SPL

Optional Power Splitter for Cisco Unified IP Conference Station 7937G when using the Cisco Power Cube 3.

Hope this helps!

Hi Eduardo,

The 7937 requires IEEE 802.03af Class 3 Power like the 3750 supplies. What type of switch are you using when it won't power up? If using a Power Cube you will need the new 7937 Power Splitter.

The Cisco Unified Conference Station 7937G supports IEEE 802.03af Class 3, which allows powering from any of the Cisco Inline Power-capable blades and boxes. In addition, the Conference Station can be powered locally with a power supply (part number CP-PWR-CUBE-3) when combined with the Cisco Unified IP Conference Station 7937G Power Splitter.

We may have an internal power issue since we are using 3750's. Correct?
