How do you calculate 'concurrent connection' for firewall?

Data center = 45Mbps circuit.

Branch offices connected to data center = 4. Total of 30 users per site. So therefore ingress traffic is 120 people.

I know that you consider about 10 TCP connections per user. If so, that is 120 x 10 = 1,200 connections.

Would you use 1,200 connections to estimate concurrent connections so that I can estimate firewall model?

Or you have another formula to estimate max # of concurrent connections?

Concurrent connections is defined as the aggregate number of simultaneous connections between hosts across the DUT/SUT, or between hosts and the DUT/SUT.The number of concurrent connections a firewall can support is just as important a metric for some users as maximum bit forwarding rate.
