In the WCS under Managment - WEB Admin Ive turned WEB Mode to disable and secure web mode to enable, but can still http to log in page, log in then get redirected to HTTPS.

It should drop the HTTP request has anyone come accross this issue.

I believe that is how it works. You can disable http, but you will be redirected to https as you have seen. The WLC is different... there is no redirect.

Thanks for you reply. Is this how it works on your WCS? from what I can see port 80 is open on the WCS.

Yes it is open. Remember when you installed WCS it ask for the ports for http, http, FTP and tftp. I guess if you wanted to block that port you can do it from the server FW. Or maybe an ack to block incomming port 80 traffic to tv WCS.
