hello,

I'm trying to figure out why there is a difference between the blueprint for written http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/rs/wr_exam_blueprint_v3.html test vs the lab blueprint http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/rs/lab_exam_blueprint.html?

Does the lab cover more than written?

thanks

Hello Tomasz,

there are two different blueprints for different reasons.

One is that new topics are first inserted in the written blueprint and later added to the lab blueprint.

For example you can see that an MPLS section is present in CCIE RS. 3.0 written blueprint and it is missing in the lab blueprint.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Simple - they are different exams.

The idea is that some things may be easier to test in a written environment than the LAB, and if tested well enough in the written, it may not need to pop up in the lab.
