I am using SNMP to perform a HTTP test on a Cisco 3560 (12.2.25). The test should make the switch poll a website and retrieve statistics on its results. I have successfully performed ICMP and DNS tests on this same device, but HTTP does not work (Timeout error). There is no authentication required to access this website. I can see the request on the switch using debug. The program I use to perform the test is Spectrum OneClick v8.1. I believe this program uses the SAA agent on the switch to perform the test. Are there any IOS requirements for HTTP tests to work? Is there something in the config I need to enable?

IP SLA (aka SAA or RTR or RTTMON) is not officially supported on the 3560 switches until 12.2(40)SE. While many features will work prior to that release, any bugs or missing features will not be addressed.

Cheers, many thanks for the reply. I'll see if I can upgrade and give it another go.
