3rd Party IVR connection w/ CM

Thanks for looking at this.

We have a need to connect a 3rd party IVR system (VBVoice application) with our call manager.

Normally we would use a SIP trunk between CM & The server which this application is running on, however in this application we have a need to transfer calls. we are currently running CM 4.1, and our sysadmin does not want to upgrade to 5.0 to allow for additional SIP functionality (including transfer).

The VBVoice application can be configured to use H323, is it possible to get CM to connect to the application server via H323? If so what would need to be configured for this to work?

We currently do not have any H323 gateways, or gatekeepers configured today.

You should simply be able to create an H323 GW on CallManager referencing the IP address of the H323 interface on the IVR system. That should be all.
