Hello my ex-coworker friend.

I believe you are mentioning the difference between an actual power-on (power down physically) or by doing a power cycle via CLI commands:

power cycle module 1

or

hw-module power-supply 1 power-cycle

Let me know if this helps.

*btw SP is for supervisor

Hello Daniell,

how many supervisors are in the first chassis ?

If they are two the SP could refer to the standby processor

Otherwise I would think it is just a different way to say the same.

Hope to help
