I am getting the following alerts and need some help understanding what I need to look at to troubleshoot the alert below.....

The Call Managers have reported that a gateway has deregistered: 1507273: Sep 16 20:10:15.429 UTC : %CCM_CALLMANAGER-CALLMANAGER-2-MGCPGatewayLostComm: MGCP communication to gateway lost. Device Name:buf_vg224 App ID:Cisco CallManager Cluster ID:NPPUB-Cluster Node ID:10.10.4.13. Check!

Thanks,

Mike

You have basically lost communication to one of your VG224 analogue gateways. In CallManager Administration, go to device > gateway. Search by device type and specify the VG224 as the type.

Once you have found the device, open it. Then open one of the pots interfaces to make sure it is registered with the CallManager.

If nothing is registered you may want to physically check to see if the device is powered up (assuming you know where it is).

I will be checking this out. Thanks for the input.
