CSA Agent user level privileges

Hi,

We have CSA MC6.0 depolyed under test environment. In Some Desktops which we are going to install agent require some policies to be activated during daytime and same policies should be disabled during night time. (ie. Writing files to USB devices, this policiy should allow users who use the PC during day time and same should be disallow who use in the night time etc.).

Hope someone can give a positive solution for this requirement.

Will the machines be on the same network day and night?

Will it be the same users?

If you could you explain more about what you want to accomplish, it might help. Why might be helpful too.

many thanks for reply. yes machines will be the same network day and night.

No.the same machine will be used by one user in day and another user at night.

So the user who use this machine should have have more previleges (less security) such as using USB, external drives and download n use IM applicaitons etc etc. But the user who use the same machine should not have those previleges.

It is now. I think user states is what you want to use for this. That way it doesn't matter what machine they log in to, the user state will determine the privelege level.
