Why DFM Not Importing all DCR routers and Switches

GERARD PUOPLO

We have DFM on its own server as a DCR slave. Auto Import is enabled.

Within DFM I do Device Summary I see DFM monitoring 208 routers and switches. But within CS->Device Management->Device Summary I see I have 253 routers and switches. Thus, DFM appears to be missing 45 devices.

What reasons could cause this and how do I troubleshoot ?

thx

Where are you seeing the numbers in DFM? I believe your DCR server is integrated with ACS. Are the missing devices showing up in the Devices not in ACS report?

I am seeing the DFM numbers under DFm Device Summary. And the DCR numbers from the master CS-Device Management-Device Summary.

Not yet on this DFM deployment but soon to be.

I would need to check that.

It doesn't matter if this server is integrated with ACS. What matters is the master server. This is due to a bug where only authorized devices are sent from master to slave.
