Dears, I want to register my 7940 SCCP phone from my home to office call manager. I have created Access-list on ASA to permit signalling protocols to register the IP phone. The phone has getting the TFTP loader but the phone's call manager IP is the Local IP which we are using in inside office LAN. Call manager local IP has already NATed to public IP. How can I manually change call manager IP address on 7940 phone.

Regards

U may need to edit Configuration file if using

Callmanager 4.x ProcessNode option in the

SEP.cnf.xml

Best option is to use VPN from remote site to Central site.

Hi,

We are looking to tie down a subset of phones from a security perspective and wondered whether it is possible to manually change the SEP.cnf.xml file. Or simply to change template and force devices to use the amended items? When I say is it possible, I mean without issues. Version of CUCM:6.1.2

Thanks...
