Alias and SSL vpn vs AnyConnect

Hi,

I have a working remote access SSL vpn on my asa 5505. However, the same SSL vpn does not allow for users to connect using the AnyConnect client software.

If I enable an alias for this SSL group, both the AnyConnect and the SSL vpn login will work just fine.

Any ideas on why?

For enabling the Enabling AnyConnect Client Connections you need to Create and enable a group alias that displays in the group list on the WebVPN Login page using thegroup-alias command from tunnel group webvpn attributes mode.
