We have a scenario where we need to implement g729 between two gateways ( 1 local & 1 remote ) Connected to the local gateway is a ACD which sends calls via E1 TDM trunks but is completely random as to which trunk it uses, it sends all calls in this direction ( via a pool of steer codes we use ) to be more specifically routed by CUCM to the relevant endpoint ( all MGCP gateways ). To be handed off to vendor TDM infrastructure.

In this instance we wish to move 1 vendor on g729. Is there any way of doing this as we cant force the ACD to use a specific port and therefore onto a port with the correct device pool configured ??
