Video over IP and Videoconferencing

Hello,

We are just planning to convert our Main office and branch office VoIP solution to video supported infrastructure, what are the additional stuff do we need? which router can I use for Main and branch office with which particular IOS to support the video call and conferencing?

any link or documentation will be really great!!!

Hello Devang

The routers at your sites will most probably work now as I am assuming you are set for QoS right now with your VOIP. The routers only pass the packets for video calls unless you use one as a gatekeeper (H.323 system)If you want video endpoints (H.323) to have multiconferences then you will need an MCU to facilitate this and possibly an IP to ISDN gateway and gatekeeper etc. If you just wish to use VT Advantage with CCM then the routers will just pass the traffic as IP packets and it is all down to your QoS settings.
