What means this?...

ep 20 07:56:33.615: %C4K_ETHPORTMAN-3-TENGIGSEEPROMREADFAILED: Failed to read seeprom on port Te5/1. If an X2 module is installed, remove and reinsert the X2. If a TwinGigConverter is installed, configure the port group for GigabitEthernet.

Im using Cisco IOS Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-IPBASE-M), Version 12.2(46)SG, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).

So what does the port look like now? Can you install a total of 4 SFP's in to each sup?

Do you have 10Gb or TwinGig converter? I am going to assume twingig so you'll need to run the command:

hw-module module 5 port-group 1 select gigabitethernet

but to match your specific setup.

I don't have any converter installed.

So what does the port look like now? Can you install a total of 4 SFP's in to each sup?

i seeing a Unknow port in the show commands, see bellow:
