Memory

I have three routers and a couple of simple questions.

I was hoping to have more memory but alas it appears I have 32Mb Ram with 16Mb of flash in my 2610XM and 24Mb Ram and 8Mb of flash in my 2610.

What is the best image I can put on these, I am thinking of putting the 2610XM memory in the 2610 and running 12.3 and upgrading the 2610XM to 128Mb DRAM and 32Mb Flash.

Also any issues running FR on a 2510?

Hello Pete,

you can move the memory chips but only two slots are present on the C2600

see

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_mod/cis2600/cnfgnote/2600mem.htm

You should be able to use FR on the C2510

Hope to help

Giuseppe
