Two remote IP phones fail to connect.

CallManager 6.0.1.2000-4.

When a remote IP phone using Easy VPN calls another remote IP Phone using Easy VPN, the phone rings then the call drops. If they call an IP phone that is local to the CallManger there are no problems. Both remote sites connect to an ASA with Cisco 851 devices. I never see any error messages on the ASA. What troubleshooting steps should I use to isolate the problem?

The first thing you should check is to make sure your routing is working. Can you ping from remote site to remote site.

The remote networks need to be able to access each other directly. You may be able to solve this by enabling same interface routing on the IPSec interface of the ASA.

Try adding this to your ASA config:

same-security-traffic permit intra-interface
