I have a 7985G and currently unable to get the phone to register, get vlan info or ip address. When I statically assign an ip address, vlan, tftp etc I still get no response. I can see the phone as unregistered. While debuging tftp, I see no attempts from the phone to access TFTP. I have veriified MAC Address and that the switch port is working and configured correctly. All other phones, 7940's and 7960's are up and running..Any help would be appreciated..

If you manually set the IP and TFTP settings and still see no TFTP requests from the phone, I'd say it's dead, Jim. Call Cisco and get it replaced under the 90 day warranty.

I am blowing the IOS away and reinstalling. Maybe a bad load? Thanks for your help..
