is this right command to check amount of traffic on switch port?

70% is pretty busy but a switch port should be ok at that level . Anything above like 90% we have seen where packets start getting dropped.

That is the collective stats, if you want an up to date count then clear the counters and take a look .

On a CatOS system try the command show topn. This command provides to you the top talkers of the switch. You can set some switches on the command that allow you to extend the capture length or look at errors or packet counts. This command is helpful for seeign who the top tsalkers are and what kind of utilization they are using...

is that ok.
so utilization show here is bases on port??

Yes you can use that but it will only show the top 20 ports as far as utilization .

so what is considered high port utilization anything begger han 70%?
