CiscoWorks Startup/Running Out Of Sync Issue

We use Ciscoworks Startup/Running Out Of Sync to check if we have missed to issue wr mem after change on any device.Strangely we find Cisco routers ,the one with Crypto IOS ,Out Of Sync even after a wr mem.The Difference in 2 config files is of the crypto signatures (which is a long string of characters viewable)which does not synchronise with the startup config.Grateful if one can help solve this issue.

This is a known issue (see CSCec68083). You must be running LMS 2.5 or higher, telnet or SSH must be your primary config fetch protocol, and your IOS must support the "show running-config brief" command. This way, we can issue the "show running-config brief" command which will omit the crypto map details. If TFTP is the primary fetch command, then you will see the out-of-sync problem.

Yes we manage config changes via Telnet.I verified that sh runn brief omits the crypto details.But how can I tune Ciscoworks to poll using sh runn brief,can you advise.

Your version, LMS 2.2 is now end of support. You should upgrade to LMS 2.6 or 3.1. You will not be able to get the fix otherwise.
