Linksys with 3560s and IPT

We have an IPT network using CCM 4.1 with 7940s and 7912s.

I need to add a wireless Linksys router to the network. I left a "knowledgeable" employee to do it himself last week, he plugged it into the PC port of his phone promptly driving the phones crazy all over the network.

What does everyone think is a good port config to hang a Linksys off? The Linksys won't be doing DHCP, if that helps. I have heard to enable dhcp snooping and bpduguard, but am wondering what everyone else thinks.

Thanks to everyone's ideas!

any fastethernet port will do. just make sure it has no voice vlan and only data vlan configured on the port. you would want to reserve and assign the IP address on your dhcp for this device; and then choose the static ip address option on the linksys. plug the lan port in the internet port of the linksys. try to do this on a off-peak hours of your production network in order to avoid the same scenario as before.
