IAD2432 - 1 main number (or a couple) to several different voice-ports

We have a couple different numbers (main number plus a couple more) that need to go to a group (7 or 8) of the voice ports. Included is the configuration below. Calls are all going to and coming from a SIP provider with the same address. How do we make this happen? (config is included below)

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg,

set up four dial-peer voice X pots, each with the destination-pattern that is going to be dialed (ie 1234) and each referring

to the correct voice-port, and each with a preference value of 1,2,3, or 4

For example:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 1234

port 1/0/0

dial-peer voice 2 pots

destination-pattern 1234

port 1/0/1

dial-peer voice 3 pots

destination-pattern 1234

port 1/1/0

dial-peer voice 4 pots

destination-pattern 1234

port 1/1/1

This is a hunt-group on the router -- an incoming call can terminate on any of the four POTS dial-peers and IOS will find a free voice-port to terminate the call on. You can even define which order you want to test the voice-ports if you want it to hunt a certain way. See the following links for more information:

Not sure if I understand correctly, but you want to ring FXS port at the same time?

This is only doable with sccp controlled ports or MGCP orts controlled by CUCM. Not in H.323 that i know.

You can play with timeout ringing but still wont ring phones at the same time.

Let us know if that was the question.

Thanks

No- It's simply a group of numbers acting as a hunt group. Not ringing the phones at the same time.

ok- that makes sense- but how do you do more than one number for the hunt group- for example, a local main number and an 800 number?
