i have a ring design on my network,i make use of 8 switches in a ring and i linked all the switches by trunking.i want to configure STP to prevent loop on the ring.how will i go about it
we had a 6513 as the root bridge and about 10 3750 metros in a ring. I would suggest MSTP and configure your most centralized switch as the spanning-tree root bridge.
