how to extract an access list in ASDM

Hi,

i want to know if there is any way i could copy (the CLI commands) of a particular access list from ASDM GUI? I am using "Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 7.2(2)

Device Manager Version 5.2(2)"

No you cant copy the CLI command of the ACL from the ASDM GUI.

Under the file menu of ASDM you can select "display running config in new window"

Once the running-config is displayed you can simply search the web page text for the line that you want.

An easier way is just do something like:

sh run access-l XXX | grep interesting_text_string from a command prompt
